Arabic lentil soup

Ingredients

  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 75 g red lentils
  • 500 ml vegetable broth
  • 100 g spinach
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • 0.5 lemon
  • 1 salt

    Directions

    1. Cut the onion , the garlic cloves and the carrots and stew in melted butter for about 3 to 4 minutes.
    2. Add red lentils, stew for a ~{few%minutes}. Then fill hot vegetable broth and cook for another 10 minutes.
    3. Cut the spinach and the parsley and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
    4. Add the juice of the lemon and salt.
