Indian dal with chicken

Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken
  • 1 olive oil
  • 0.5 onion
  • NaN cloves garlic
  • 1 olive
  • 150 g red lentils
  • 1 curry
  • 400 ml vegetable broth
  • 100 ml tomato sauce
  • 1 salt
  • 1 chilli
  • 1 lemon
  • 150 g basmati rice
  • 4 tbsp yoghurt

Directions

  1. Wash the chicken, dry it and cut it into cubes of about 2 cm. Fry in a pan with olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  2. Finely slice the onion and garlic and fry in a pan with olive oil for about 2 minutes. Add the red lentils and curry and fry for a further 1 minute. Then pour in the vegetable broth and tomato sauce and cook for about 20 minutes until the lentils are softened. Finally season with salt, chilli and the juice of the lemon.
  3. In a saucepan, boil the basmati rice in salted water. It is ready in 12 to 15 minutes.
  4. Serve the chicken and the rice in a deep plate and pour the lentils over them. Top with yoghurt.
